When we named this place Ohana, we chose the word deliberately. In Hawaiian, Ohana means family — and not just the family you're born into, but the family you choose.
Every person who walks through our doors becomes part of something bigger. We've seen solo travelers arrive feeling uncertain and leave with lifelong friendships. We've watched digital nomads find their creative spark through conversations over morning coffee. We've seen surfers push each other to catch bigger waves and celebrate each other's progress.
This community spirit doesn't happen by accident. It's woven into everything we do — from the layout of our shared spaces to our family dinners, from the way we introduce guests to each other to the local experiences we organize together.
Our coworking space doubles as a living room in the evenings, naturally bringing people together. Movie nights create shared moments of relaxation. And our surf sessions — whether you're a beginner taking lessons with Dilu or an experienced surfer exploring new breaks — create bonds that go beyond the water.
