She first discovered Sri Lanka and instantly felt at home. Captivated by its warmth, vibrant culture, rich colours, and unforgettable flavours, she quickly knew this was more than a destination — it was a place I would return to again and again. Over time, that connection grew into a vision: to create a space where others could experience the same sense of belonging she felt from the very beginning.
Naturally drawn to people and their stories, She's the happiest when hosting. Whether sharing conversations over freshly brewed coffee, preparing homemade meals, or baking something special for guests, she believes true hospitality lies in thoughtful details and genuine connection. Their door is always open, and their greatest joy is creating an atmosphere where guests feel not like visitors, but truly at home.
Beyond hosting, she embraces an active island lifestyle. She finds balance in the ocean, love to surf, and spend my free time outdoors, inspired by the energy and beauty of Sri Lanka’s coastline. This blend of warmth, curiosity, and vitality shapes the experience they offer.

Dilu

Born and raised on the island, is an experienced surf instructor who knows these waters intimately. Having spent his life on the south coast, he understands the ocean’s rhythms, currents, and moods like few others. His deep local knowledge, combined with years of hands-on experience, has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected instructors in the area.
Open, kind, and always smiling, Dilu creates an atmosphere where every student feels welcome from the very first moment. His calm presence and genuine care ensure that each surfer — regardless of level — feels safe, supported, and confident in the water. He takes the time to understand individual needs, adapting his guidance so that beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers alike can progress at their own pace.
What truly sets Dilu apart is his ability to build confidence. We have seen guests arrive feeling discouraged after past surfing attempts, ready to give up. Under Dilu’s patient instruction and steady encouragement, they rediscover their trust in themselves and experience the joy of riding a wave for the first time. By listening carefully, following his guidance, and embracing the process, students consistently achieve their best possible surfing experience.
